I love my fiance especially when she tries to ride out the flowers that I buy her. She loves them so much that she always keeps them on the table until they are well past their prime, sometimes a month after they are purchased. I’ll walk by when they are beginning to dry up & the water is extra murky and I’ll say we should probably throw them away, she’ll just smile at me and say but they’re pretty. So I’ve found that the only ways to get rid of the old flowers are to wait while until even she thinks they’ve gone bad, throw them away while she is at work, or replace them with new ones.
